A LITTLE ABOUT ME...

My name is Ashley and here is a bit about me!

I was born and raised in Kamloops, BC and I am the youngest of two born into a big, loving (...and loud!), Greek Family.

​

I have a dog and a cat, and one of my major life-goals is to, one day, own some land with room for more animals.. and a giant fire pit!

​

I started working in the fast food industry when I was 14 and ended my traditional working-career with my last job employed in sales and accounting at a plumbing supply business. 

​

After a major loss within my family, I was feeling even more untethered and uncertain than I already was in correlation with what I really wanted to do for the rest of my life (great thing to question as someone already in their thirties, ha!).

After realizing the huge influence Reiki had on the success of my personal healing journey (inside and out), I started considering it as a future possibility.

August 3rd, 2023 I saw a post about upcoming Reiki Level 1 and 2 training for October from reputable teachers, and I felt a soulful pull to inquire! I reached out to my now-teachers to see if any spots were available and how much the investment was. By the Universal powers that be, there was a spot for me, and the deposit to hold said-seat was sent!

The Reiki training over the weekend was beyond what you would call an incredible experience. It was as much for me as it was to become attuned and able to help others on their healing journeys. The things I learned, what I gained understanding of in the sense of inexplicable aspects of myself I have noticed over the years, and the fire inside me that seemed to burn brighter and more genuinely - even if this was all that I had gained from the experience that weekend, it would have been well worth it for what it gave me.

My entire life I have always wanted to help, everything and everyone, and make a positive and genuine difference. So, naturally, opening my own Reiki studio was absolutely part of my new-life's journey once my training was complete. 

I wanted to help others along their healing journey like Reiki and the "training-weekend" experience helped me.

I am clear of mind and soul. I am genuinely myself for the first time in what feels like forever. I am anchored, and I am blessed to be on this path.
